Hosted in the EU
The app, the database and your files run on Microsoft Azure in Italy North.
Encrypted in transit
Every connection to ByLayer uses HTTPS, behind Cloudflare.
Connections kept locked
Tokens for your cloud storage and CRM are stored encrypted. ByLayer never sees your passwords for them.
Servers kept private
The drawing workers and the database are not reachable from the internet; the web server only accepts traffic through Cloudflare.
Sign-in you already use
Email and password, Google or Microsoft. Sign-in forms are protected against bots.
Roles in your company
Owners and admins manage tools and billing; members run what has been set up for them.
Your data

- Your files and run history are kept until you delete them or close the account.
- ByLayer staff do not open your files, except with your permission to help you, for security, or when the law requires it.
- Your data is not sold, not used for advertising and not used to train AI models.
- The Product Configurator hands out PDFs only: people who fill in a form never get your DWG.
- Payments are handled by Stripe; ByLayer never stores card numbers.
