From then on every record becomes a finished drawing: title blocks, attributes, dimensions and block variants filled in, with nobody copying values by hand. Works on drawings from AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ZWCAD and GstarCAD.

Your CAD standard, checked and fixed on every drawing
Write your office or client standard as rules once. ByLayer checks every drawing against them and fixes what can be fixed, without anyone opening the files. Drawings from AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ZWCAD and GstarCAD are all checked the same way.
- Rules on anything. Layers (on, frozen, locked, colour, linetype, lineweight, plot), text and dimension styles, units, LTSCALE, drawing properties, and objects picked like Quick Select, attributes and parameters included.
- Counts and patterns. "Exactly one title block", "no OLD-* blocks": requirements with =, <>, >, <, contains, starts with and wildcards.
- Fix, not only report. Each rule can fix itself, and add a missing layer, text style or dimension style.
- Per sheet or everywhere. A rule can apply to every layout or only to the ones you name.

Turn a folder of drawings into PDFs with the page setups they already have, or with a print profile your whole company shares. No CAD licence and no machine left plotting overnight, for drawings from AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ZWCAD and GstarCAD alike.
- The sheets you want. All paper-space layouts, Model only, the current layout or a name pattern; empty layouts skipped; in tab or name order.
- Page setups kept or overridden. Use each drawing's own page setup, take a named one from a template drawing, or set paper, orientation, area and scale yourself.
- Plot styles. Monochrome, grayscale or acad.ctb.

Design the report in Excel the way you want it to look: your logo, your columns, your fonts, your formulas and charts. Show ByLayer which cells take which drawing data once, and from then on the report fills itself from your drawings, without anyone opening AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ZWCAD or GstarCAD.
- Your template, untouched. Logos, colours, merged cells, fonts, images, charts and formulas stay exactly as you made them. ByLayer only writes the values.
- Any data in the drawings. Drawing properties and layouts; objects by type, layer and block; attributes, block parameters, visibility states, length, area and position.
